SEEKING Dubai will contest the Prix Saraca at Maisons-Lafitte in France this Friday.

The progressive daughter of Dubawi.was due to compete in the Dick Poole Stakes at Salisbury earlier this month but significant rainfall meant she was a non-runner.

So that forced connections into a rethink and she is now set for the 6.5f Listed race across the Channel as she bids to complete a three-time following wins daughter of in a maiden and a nursery.

Trainer Ed Vaughan said: “The soft ground put paid to us running at Salisbury, so she has been ticking over and is fine for this.

“The ground is good at present, which is no problem and it will be interesting to see how she takes the slight step up in trip.

“Tom Queally who rode her last time felt that if she was held up then she could get seven furlongs this year so this will tell us more about her optimum trip. Gerald Mosse rides.”
